Entrepreneurship-Development Center of the Erdut Municipality local development agency Ltd., is a company founded in 2007 by the Erdut Municipality. The main motive for establishing the center is to support the development of entrepreneurship in the area. The center currently employs 4 people with an economic and agricultural education profile. The main activity according to the national classification is business consulting. In addition to the above, employees are engaged in education, informing entrepreneurs, writing business plans, preparing and implementing approved project applications for entrepreneurs, as well as writing EU projects. Since 2018, after the registration was supplemented, the center has also become a local development agency, and is engaged in the coordination and preparation of strategic development documents. In addition to the above activities, an important element is cooperation with other institutions in the Erdut Municipality; primary schools, secondary schools, public libraries, cultural centers. The activity is also focused on working with associations, youth, and volunteers.
Experiences
Entrepreneurship development center of Erdut Municipality local development agency Ltd.has implemented several projects as a following:
- Slovake.eu, Programme: Life Long Learning Program EACEA Year: 2013/2015 Amount:530.768 EUR Role: Partner The goal of the project is to improve the existing materials and develop new free online materials, improving our comprehensive portal for learning the Slovak language and for learning about the country and its culture.
- DUPLO, Programme: CBC, IPA II Entrepreneurship of Erdut Municipality was a
collaborator on the project and implemented educations in the field of rural tourism.
- Development of infrastructure in business zone Bijelo Brdo, Programme: IPA 2007-2009; Business related infrastructure Grant Scheme, Amount: 606.162,14 EUR Specific objectives:
1.To ensure the appropriate infrastructural condition for the development of
entrepreneurship within the business zone Bijelo Brdo 2. To ensure driving force of local and regional sustainable economic development through implementing new knowledge and skills.
- PUTEVIMA EU, Programme: Europe for citizens 2014.-2020. Amount: 107.500 EUR
Specific objective: To enhance the sense of belonging of the EU to current and future EU
citizens in the Balkans by raising the level of information and knowledge about the EU and the rights of European citizens and by promoting intercultural dialogue, mutual
understanding and volunteering at Union level.
- WOMEN BUSINESS HUB, Interreg IPA CBC Programme Croatia-Serbia, Amount:
354.831,99 EUR, Specific objective: Creating conditions for the economic empowerment of women in the croatia-serbia border region through networking and establishing a HUB.
- QUALITY EDUCATION FOR A MODERN PRIMARY SCHOOL-KOZMOS, Local Development and Poverty Reduction Programme financed by Iceland, the Principality of Liechtenstein and the Kingdom of Norway through the financial mechanism of the European Economic Area (EEA), Strengthening STEM skills in primary schools, Amount: 517.207,88 EUR, Specific objective: Improving, modernizing and strengthening STEM, ICT and active citizenship skills in Dalj Primary School for students, teachers and other teaching staff.
- Digital Marketing Capacity Building – Empowering Persons with Physical Disabilities for Remote Work (DI-MARC), Programme: ESF 2022 SOC-INNOV call of the European Social
Fund plus (ESF). Ammount: 826.462,65 EUR. The goal of the DI-MARC project is to improve the competencies of people with disabilities, which is achieved by (1) assessing the level of their existing skills and competencies and (2) creating and implementing training programs aimed at building and improving the competencies needed for work.
