Project Purpose and Goals

VETourismo’s goal is to modernise vocational education and training in agro-tourism integrating sustainability, digital transformation, and entrepreneurial learning.
It will equip VET learners, trainers, and rural entrepreneurs with green and digital skills that
increase employability, innovation, and inclusion in rural areas.

Project Objectives

Sustainable Agro-Tourism

Develop an inclusive Sustainable Agro-Tourism Curriculum combining environmental, digital, and entrepreneurial competences.

Integrate digital learning

Integrate digital learning tools (e-learning platform + 360° virtual farm tours).

Strengthen employability

Strengthen employability and entrepreneurship, especially among people with fewer opportunities.

Long-term collaboration

Build long-term collaboration between VET institutions, SMEs, and policymakers.

Partnership

uDevelop (Germany) – Project Coordinator & Impact Lead

Leads project management, research, and curriculum finalization, ensuring quality
and alignment with sustainability goals. Oversees the Impact & Evaluation Plan and produces the “VETourismo in Action” video series documenting project milestones.

BCCI (Bulgaria) – Pilot Testing Leader

Organizes the pilot testing of the VETourismo curriculum, gathering feedback from
learners and trainers. Hosts a local multiplier event to engage stakeholders and
promote project outcomes.
LTT (Romania) – Website Management
Develops and maintains the VETourismo website, ensuring accessibility to project
materials. Manages translation and content integration and hosts a local
dissemination event.
iAgroCert (Greece) – E-Learning & Digital Outreach
Leads the development of the VETourismo e-learning platform, providing interactive
courses and resources. Manages social media and digital dissemination campaigns to
ensure wide engagement and visibility.

Partnership

DEULA (Germany) – Branding & Visibility
Develops the VETourismo brand identity, ensuring a professional and consistentimage across all materials. Supports quality assurance of dissemination outputs andhosts a local multiplier event.
CEPROF (Portugal) – Virtual Farm Tours
Creates 360-degree virtual farm experiences showcasing best agro-tourism practices.Collaborates with local businesses and educators to ensure real-world applicabilityand innovative learning.
Slow Tourism (Italy) – Capacity-Building Training Hosts
Hosts the 4-day international training on digital and sustainable agro-tourism,equipping VET learners with job-ready skills and green competences. Organizes a national multiplier event for local dissemination.
PORC (Croatia) – Communication & Stakeholder Engagement
Leads the development of the Communication & Dissemination Plan, ensuringstructured outreach, stakeholder involvement, and engagement with policymakers andindustry representative
