Objective 1 - Modernise VET through a Sustainable Agro-Tourism Curriculum
Develop and implement a structured, inclusive curriculum that equips learners with practical knowledge of sustainable agro-tourism, environmental stewardship, climate adaptation, entrepreneurship and locally rooted tourism. The curriculum will be modular and adaptable to different VET systems and learning contexts.
Objective 2 - Strengthen Digital Competencies and Smart Learning
Improve the digital readiness of VET learners, educators and rural businesses through learning on digital marketing, IoT and smart technologies, virtual tourism tools and data-informed practices. The e-learning platform and 360° virtual farm tours will make these skills accessible through flexible and experiential learning.
Objective 3 - Promote Inclusion, Accessibility and Equal Participation
Ensure that VETourismo learning opportunities and resources can reach diverse learners, with particular attention to rural youth, women, underrepresented communities and people with fewer opportunities. Flexible formats, digital access, blended learning and adapted learning materials will support broader participation in agro-tourism education and employment pathways.
Objective 4 - Build Cross-Border Cooperation for Long-Term Impact
Strengthen cooperation between VET institutions, agro-tourism businesses, rural entrepreneurs, chambers and development organisations, policymakers and other stakeholders. Knowledge exchange, pilot activities, training, Think Tanks and multiplier events will help connect education with industry needs and support the longer-term uptake of VETourismo resources across Europe.
